Baysoir: The Font That Boosted My Bakery’s Brand

I run a small bakery called Maple & Co. For years, I’ve been juggling the daily grind of baking, managing orders, and keeping up with the ever-changing design needs of my business. One day, I realized that my brand was looking a bit… inconsistent. My packaging, social media posts, and even my website all had different fonts, which made everything feel disjointed. It wasn’t until I discovered Baysoir that I saw how much of an impact a single font could have on my brand’s identity.

Why Baysoir Stood Out

Baysoir is a handwritten signature font that comes in two styles: script and Display Sans serif. At first glance, it feels like something you’d see on a vintage envelope or a hand-signed thank-you card. But what really caught my eye was how versatile it is. The script style has a natural, flowing feel that’s perfect for logos and headlines, while the Display Sans serif offers a clean, modern alternative that works well for body text and labels.

What I love most about Baysoir is its personality. It’s not too fancy, not too casual—it strikes that perfect balance between approachable and professional. When I first used it on my bakery boxes, customers started commenting on how “handmade” and “personal” the packaging looked. That’s exactly the vibe I wanted to convey.

A Simple Change, Big Impact

I decided to start by updating my product labels. Before Baysoir, I used a variety of fonts, which made everything look haphazard. With Baysoir, I was able to create a consistent look across all my packaging. The script style worked beautifully for the names of my pastries, while the Display Sans serif was great for ingredient lists and pricing.

Soon after, I applied Baysoir to my Instagram templates. My previous designs felt cluttered and lacked visual hierarchy. By using Baysoir for headlines and subheadings, I created a cleaner, more readable layout. My followers noticed the difference immediately—comments started rolling in about how much more polished my content looked.

How Baysoir Fits Into My Brand

Baysoir isn’t just a font—it’s a tool for building brand consistency. I use it in several key areas:

One thing I’ve learned is that typography plays a huge role in customer perception. A well-chosen font can make your brand feel more trustworthy, recognizable, and memorable. Baysoir helps me achieve that without sacrificing style or simplicity.

Readability Matters

When choosing a font for small labels or mobile screens, readability is key. I’ve found that Baysoir works best when used at a minimum size of 14px for print and 16px for digital. On product mockups, I always test how it looks at different sizes to ensure it remains legible.

For printed packaging, I recommend printing a sample to see how the font holds up under different lighting conditions. Baysoir’s script style can sometimes appear slightly bolder in print than on screen, so it’s important to preview your designs before finalizing them.

Font Pairing Tips

Baysoir pairs beautifully with other fonts, especially when you want to add contrast and visual interest. Here are a few pairings I’ve found work well:

The key is to maintain a balance. Too many fonts can make your design feel chaotic, while too few can make it feel boring. Baysoir gives you the flexibility to experiment without overwhelming your audience.
